Emory and Henry 150, Thomas More 110

EMORY, VA — In the second highest scoring game in Thomas More's NCAA period, the Saints fell to Emory & Henry, 150-110, Saturday in the opening game of the Emory & Henry Tournament.

The highest scoring game in 1990 as the Saints downed Campbellsville, 140-123.

A 20-6 run by the Wasps turned a one-point deficit to a 13 points lead, and the lead would eventual grow to 28 at the break.

Junior E.J. Haynes (Cincinnati, OH/Walnut Hills) led the Saints with 26 points on 12-of-14 shooting. He added eight rebounds and four blocks for Thomas More.

For other Saints scored in double figures as senior R.K. Thurman (Portsmouth, OH/Portsmouth), freshman Mason O'Hara (DeMossville/Pendleton County) and freshman Brandon Bolden (Radcliff/North Hardin) all had 12 points. Junior Garry Horton (Louisville/Pleasure Ridge Park) added 16.

The Saints (0-3) will play Methodist in the consolation game at 1 p.m.
