CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Three key offensive rebounds resulting in seven points helped MIT take the lead for good with 3:19 left to play in its 81-77 win over Anna Maria College last Tuesday. Soo Hoo sparked the comeback with a trey at the 5:47 mark, giving Tech its first field goal in almost six minutes. A basket by Samantha O’Keefe followed by a three-point play and a three-pointer from Yuan cut the deficit to two (29-27). Anna Maria extended its lead to five before MIT answered with a put-back by Cherelle Walls and another trey from Yuan. Back-to-back baskets by the Amcats were countered with a pair of free throws and a three-pointer from Soo Hoo to close the half with a 37-37 tie.
