Brantner poured in a game high 27 points, missing just one shot the entire evening. Brantner was 10-of-11 from the field and a perfect 7-of-7 from the charity stripe. He also grabbed a game high 10 rebounds.
Brantner was joined by Andy Rump (Fort Madison, Iowa/Aquinas) and Jake Lappe (Fort Madison, Iowa/Aquinas) who also scored in double figures. Rump, who was 3-of-8 from three-point land, tallied 17 points, while Lappe chipped in 16. Lappe also had a good night shooting, connecting on 8-of-12 attempts.
The Norse shot 53 percent from the field and led at halftime 37-30. The Norse also out rebounded the Oles 34-27.
St. Olaf was led by Jon Butala who was credited with 20 points. He was followed by Jon Bain who had 10.
The Oles shot 44 percent from the field and were 16-of-21 from the free throw line.
