Coe cut the lead to 32-26 with 18:28 left in the game and trailed 42-33 with 11:28 remaining. UW-L then went on a 11-2 run to lead 53-35 with 6:36 left. The Kohawks could get no closer than 16 the rest of the game.
Joe Bemis led UW-L with 13 points and six rebounds. He also had two steals. Tim Owen added nine points for the Eagles while Marcus Conigliaro and Chris Ask each finished with eight points. Conigliaro added three assists while Ask had six rebounds and three steals.
UW-L shot 49.1% from the field, including 58.6% (17-of-29) in the second half. The team shot 35.3% (six-of-17) from three-point range and 60.0% (nine-of-15) at the free throw line. UW-L scored 32 points off Coe turnovers.
Kyle Kuenstling led Coe with 11 points while Brian Brungard added nine points and five rebounds. Rob Hanna led the Kohawks with six rebounds. Coe shot 42.1% from the field, including 25.0% (three-of-12) from three-point range. The team shot 81.3% (13-of-16) at the line. The Kohawks finished with 24 turnovers.
