Juniata 91, Pitt-Greensburg 72

Huntingdon, PA — The University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg Men's Basketball team dropped the championship game of the "Doc" Greene Tournament to host Juniata College, 91-72, on Saturday night. The loss evened the Bobcats record at 1-1 on the season.

The Bobcats were plagued by foul trouble the entire contest and lost starters Duke Cooper (Reston, VA/South Lakes/Robert Morris) and David Winfrey (Uniontown, PA/Uniontown) to foul-outs in the second half.

Pitt-Greensburg did receive a spark from junior forward Bill Scavincky (Irwin, PA/Penn-Trafford), who led the team with 23 points. Sophomore forward Daniel Waajid (Pittsburgh, PA/Pittsburgh Central Catholic) contributed his first 'double-double' of the season with 16 points and 10 rebounds.

The Bobcats are next in action on Tuesday, November 22, when they travel to face off against NCAA Division II Fairmont State University. The game is scheduled for an 8:00 tip-off.
