Giorgi Chavleishvili '08 led Hamilton with 19 points in just 18 minutes. Nick Jones '07 added 17 and Ramunas Rozgys '09 chipped in 11 in his first game for the Continentals. Tim Welchons '06 scored eight points, handed out eight assists and grabbed eight rebounds. James McNeil '08 paced Medaille with a game-high 23 points. McNeil dished out five assists and Scott Hack '08 poured in 16 points. Hamilton led 49-32 at the half.
New Paltz led 60-59 with 7:21 left in the second half, but Messiah scored seven straight points during the next 1:59 to take the lead for good. Jared Yoder '07 led the way for the Falcons with 23 points. Zach Wiernicki '06 posted 20 points and nine rebounds. Quinn McCullough '06 had 11 points and four assists. John Hauser '07 made all three of his three-point attempts and finished with 17 points for New Paltz. John Carter '06 was 5-of-6 from beyond the arc and ended up with 15 points. The Hawks made 63 percent (12-19) of their three-point attempts. Messiah enjoyed a 42-18 advantage on the boards.
