It was all Gallaudet from the opening tip as they jumped out to an early 6-0 lead on a trio of hoops from Jackson and junior center Bradley Miller. The advantage grew to 33-8 when junior guard Brendan Stern coming off a career-best performance against Goucher nailed a three-pointer from the left wing. The Bison led at halftime, 38-13.
The hosts continued to pound the Crusaders in the second half. They widened the gap to 65-34 when Miller turned and hit a shot from the low block. White who finished with a game-high three steals rounded the scoring out at 74-46 with a fast break layup. Gallaudet junior forward Robert Haney Jr. finished with 12 points and a game-high 11 rebounds, while Miller poured in 12 points. Patrick Vander Woude and Chris Lancaster led Christendom with 15 points apiece. With the win, the Bison improve to 5-12 overall.
Gallaudet returns to action against visiting CAC foe Salisbury University on Wednesday at 8 p.m.
