Senior forward Jason Cardinal (Ashaway, RI) played a key role for the Golden Bears by scoring all eight of his points during that stretch.
Sophomore guard Clinton Lassiter (Boston, MA) was outstanding for Suffolk (5-11, 3-6) compiling a double double with 16 points (6-for-9 from the field) and 14 rebounds. Senior guard Chris Emma (Braintree, MA) added 13 points while junior forward Josh Morelock (Poplar Grove, IL) had 10 points and five rebounds.
Western New England College outscored Suffolk by a 46-26 margin the second half.
