DOVER, De. — Wesley College (4-12, 3-6) defeated conference opponent Marywood University (5-11, 3-5) by a final score of 85-68 on Saturday afternoon. Wesley had four players in double-figures being led by Rufus Mincey’s (Morristown, NJ/Morristown) 19 points on 7-of-13 shooting. Pat Woods (Lewes, DE/Cape Henlopen) dropped in 16 points, while shooting 6-of-6 from the field and 2-of-2 from 3-point range. Josh Kline (Port Charlotte, FL/Port Charlotte) and Tyrell Brown had 12 and 10 points respectively, with Kline adding 5 steals and Brown grabbing 8 rebounds. Robert Gordy (Temperanceville, VA/Arcadia) had a game-high 11 rebounds.
Ryan Rogan (Archbald, PA/Scranton Prep) led Marywood with 16 points, while Tim Smallwood (Greenwich, CT/Greenwich) and Joe Buczko (Trucksville, PA/Bishop Hoban) had 14 points apiece. Marywood shot 25-of-54 (46.3%) for the game.
The Wolverines shot 31-of-60 (51.7%) from the field and 18-of-25 (72%) from the free-throw line. Wesley out-rebounded the Pacers 38-25.
