Trailing 37-20 at halftime, the Lutes cut the margin to 10 points, 37-27 with 16:50 left, as Cardwell scored on a lay-up, Gabe Ash hit a jumper and Cardwell hit a three-point shot. Robinowitz began a 16-3 Pioneer run when he was fouled on a three-point attempt and sank all three foul shots. Mike Kirkham's tip-in with 11:49 remaing gave Lewis & Clark a 52-32 lead and the Pioneers cruised to the win.
