Millikin's Chuck Williams scored a team-high 16 points en route to earning the No. 24 spot on Millikin's career scoring list (1,163). He led four Big Blue in double-figures - Korte Long had 12 and Quintin Howard and Lance Brooks each had 10 points. Long was the team's top rebounder with nine. Other statistical leaders for Millikin, Adam Russell had three steals and Jason Fisher had four assists.
For North Central, Daniel Walton led a pair in double figures with his 17 points. Anthony Simmons added 12. Patrick Flanigan, Walton and Simmons each had six rebounds for the visiting Cardinals which out-rebounded Millikin 29-24 on the night. Ray Vicario dished out a team-high five assists and Vicario and Mike Wilson each had two steals.
Both teams shot close to 50 percent with North Central finishing 51.0 percent from the field. Millikin shot 48.1 percent. The Big Blue shot 60 percent from 3-point (9 of 15) compared to 22.2 percent for North Central (2 of 9). Millikin also had a higher free-throw percentage, 64.7 percent to 58.8 percent for North Central.
