Elmira, NY: — Seventh-ranked St. John Fisher College improved to 18-0 on the year with a 63-42 win at Elmira College on Saturday in an Empire 8 Conference matchup.
FIsher ended the first half with a 7-0 run over the final two minutes to take a 27-20 lead at intermission. The Cardinals then opened the second half with a 15-3 spurt over the first four minutes to take command.
Jeff Sidney led Fisher (7-0 Empire 8) with 17 points. Nick Bennett finished with 12 points and 10 assists, while Sean O'Brien tallied 11 points and seven assists.
Micah Owens led Elmira (1-15, 1-6 E8) with 12 points.
