Northfield, Minn. — Megan Vig matched her season high with 27 points and added 10 rebounds as No. 19 Carleton College shot 59 percent from the field is dismantling No. 14 St. Benedict, 84-57.

Vig canned 11-of-13 shots as Carleton (13-3, 13-0 MIAC) rolled to its 13th consecutive victory and 23rd straight at home. Vig surpassed the 1,000-point mark for her career, only the ninth Carleton player to achieve the feat and third to reach it during her junior year. She now ranks seventh on Carleton's all-time scoring list. The win gave the Knights a three-game lead in the MIAC race with only seven games left on the conference regular-season slate.

Carleton swept the season series by a combined margin of 42 points. It marked the second time this season the Knights have held the Blazers to less than 60 points, as St. Benedict scored 57 points as well in the season’s first meeting. The Knights have held MIAC foes to less than 60 points in 11 of 13 MIAC contests.
