Baruch 111, Brooklyn 69

NEW YORK — Baruch scored a season-high 111 points to defeat Brooklyn College in a CUNYAC home game played Saturday afternoon in the ARC Arena.

The team had seven players in double-figure scoring led by Robi Davidson (17 points, 5-8 3FG), John Burzo (15 points), Louie Karis (15 points), Cheick Fadika (13 points, seven rebounds), Chris Alesi (12 points), Chris O'Connor (11 points), and Sime Marnika (10 points, 10 rebounds).

Alesi, who leads the CUNYAC in assists and is sixth overall in the NCAA, also finished with 14 assists.

Baruch (15-6, 7-2 CUNYAC) had a 56-37 halftime lead as every player shot 50 percent or better on Alumni Day in the ARC.

Head Coach Ray Rankis also notched his 296th career win, while Burt Beagle worked his 896th consecutive men's basketball game as a statistician for the men's team dating back to 1969.

Jeffrey Jean-Baptiste led the way for Brooklyn (10-9, 3-6) with 27 points (11-16 FG).

The men's team will return to action this Wednesday when they host CCNY in a conference game at 7:00 p.m.
