Polytechnic (3-10) led early 22-19, but Baruch went on a 15-3 run to build a 34-22 lead late in the first half.
They kept the lead in double-digits throughout the second half, as every place saw action in the 14th win of the season for the Bearcats (14-6).
The coaching staff led by John Alesi directed the team in absence of head coach Ray Rankis, who was unavailable due to family business.
Chris Jean and Lindon Ivezaj each scored 12 points for Polytechnic.
The men will return to action on Saturday afternoon with a conference home game against Brooklyn. The game will take place following the men's basketball alumni game scheduled to start at or about 1:45pm. The women begin the basketball day in the ARC facing their Brooklyn College counterparts at Noon.
