BOSTON, Ma. — Emmanuel College freshman point guard Jade Paez (Bronx, NY) netted a game-high 25 points, including 7 three-pointers to lift Emmanuel over Babson College, 76-66. The Saints trailed by 11 at the break (38-37), but Emmanuel’s full-court pressure changed the tempo. Sparked by Paez’s six 2nd half threes, the Saints went on 10-0 run and took the lead with 11 minutes remaining. Sophomore power forward LaTeisha Johnson (Boston, MA) hit for 20 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, and blocked 5 shots, while senior captain Paulette Johnson (Providence, RI) pumped in 8 points and grabbed a game-high 13 boards.

Babson’s senior forward Erin Conway (Old Greenwich, CT) recorded a double-double with 20 points and 10 boards. The Saints improved their record to 15-2, while the Beavers fell to 9-8.
