COLUMBUS, Ohio — Jake Beck scored 23 points and had a game-high 11 rebounds, leading Capital to an 83-69 victory Wednesday night over Heidelberg.

David Johnson added 19 points for Capital (12-5, 8-3 OAC), which went on a 24-11 run in the first half that built the lead to 15 points.

Beck went 8-for-23 from the field. None of his teammates took more than nine shots.

Heidelberg (5-13, 2-9) got 14 points from Brian Schmidt, but had 20 turnovers.
