Millikin's Jason Fisher unloaded four 3-pointers early in the first half en route to 14 first-half points and finished with 18 on the day. Chuck Williams led Millikin with 19 points and also added four 3-pointers. Also in double-figures for Millikin was Adam Russell with 12. Mike Gavic led the rebounding effort with five and Quintin Howard dished off four assists while Fisher had four steals.
North Park got 16 points from Lamar Townsend and 14 each from Brett Mathisen and Mike Peterson. Mike Haehn had a team-best nine rebounds for the Vikings while Je'shawn Stevenson notched four assists for the visitors.
Millikin shot 51.7 percent from the field, 42.1 percent from 3-point and 59.1 percent from the free throw line. North Park shot 53.7 percent from the field, 30 percent from 3-point and 60 percent from the free throw line.
With his nine 3-point tries on the day, Fisher moved into the record books with a career-high 589 3-point tries. The record was 581.
