Andy Grimsrud (Sr., Zumbrota, Minn.) had 15 points and Chad Norberg (Fy, Northfield, Minn.) 13 in the St. Olaf men's basketball team's 83-74 win over Augsburg Saturday in Northfield.
Grimsrud's three three-point buckets in the last minutes of the first half helped the Oles to a 41-34 lead at the break.
The St. Olaf win, which snapped a six-game skid, offset a 32-point, nine rebound effort by Augsburg's Lucas Olson-Patterson.
Augsburg closed regulation with a 10-2 run to send the game to overtime.
The Oles outscored the Auggies 43-16 in bench scoring. Norberg was 5-of-6 from the field and Grimsrud 4-for-6 in the win.
Mark Bergstrom (So., Woodbury, Minn.) added 11 and Jon Bain (So., Austin, Minn.) 10 points for St. Olaf.
Charlie Scott chipped in 14 for Augsburg.
St. Olaf plays host to Saint John's University Wednesday.
