Chris Condon led all scorers with 18 points for the Chargers (12-3, 7-0 CCC), who also got 15 points from Andrew St. Clair and 10 from James Thorpe. Chris Burke added eight points and a team-high six rebounds for Colby-Sawyer, who remains unbeaten in CCC play.
Chris Collier and Chris Goodridge both scored 10 points to lead Salve Regina (10-5, 6-2 CCC), which entered the game atop the CCC South Division by virtue of a 17-point win over Roger Williams on Thursday. Collier also grabbed a game-high eight rebounds.
Colby-Sawyer held Salve Regina to just 37 percent shooting in the second half, while hitting 57 percent of their own shots in the period.
Colby-Sawyer heads to the road to take on Wentworth on Tuesday, January 25, at 5:30 p.m., before facing Roger Williams on Saturday, January 29. The Chargers return home on Tuesday, February 1, when they entertain the University of New England in a 7:30 tip.
