Bates 81, St. Joseph's (Maine) 61

STANDISH, Maine -- — Bates’ starting five all scored in double-digits Wednesday, and Bryan Wholey ’08 (Marshfield, Mass.) scored a career-high 14 coming off the bench in the Bobcats’ 88-61 victory over St. Joe’s at Alfond Center.

Rob Stockwell ’07 (Temple, N.H) recorded his sixth double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds, while Brian Gerrity ’05 (Augusta, Maine) and Elliot Linsley ’05 (Murrieta, Calif.) scored 12 apiece.

Zak Ray ’07 (Bangor, Maine) and Jon Furbush ’05 (Portland, Maine) both finished with 10.

Chad Pulkkinen scored a team-high 13 for St. Joe’s (7-6); Steve Monteiro and Jon Pratt had 10.

Bates (12-4, 2-0 NESCAC) will resume conference play this weekend with road games at Middlebury and Williams.
