After heading into the break down 42-25, Curry shot 46.9% in the second half but fell short in their comeback bid. Ben Camobreco led the Hawks with 14 points and four assists, while Dan Gumb scored 13 points and pulled down six boards. Gumb was 3-of-4 from beyond the arc in the game. Geoff Baranger chipped in with 12 points and six rebounds, and Ryan Keaton added 10 points and six rebounds in the win. Andrew Viana had a game-high 10 rebounds.
Curry was led offensively by Tim Jones, who netted a game-high 18 points in the loss. Raheim Lamb, Michael Mohrin, and James Bartelle all reached double-figures with Curry, scoring 14, 13, and 11 points, respectively.
The Hawks (6-6, 5-0 CCC) are back in action on January 20 when they hit the road to take on archrival Salve Regina at 8 PM.
