The win improves the Bulldogs to 11-3 overall, while the loss drops the Ospreys to 10-6 overall. DSU improved to 10-0 when they out-rebound its opponent as they held a 45-37 advantage on the boards in the game. DeSales also shot 42.9 percent in the second-half and forced 17 Osprey turnovers in the game.
DSU used a decisive 25-7 second-half run to put the game away after leading by just two points, 32-30, at the start of the second half. Antolick led the charge with 11 points including a three-pointer that concluded the run and freshman Krista Gerlach provided a spark with all eight of her points during the 18-point spurt.
The first half was a back and forth affair that saw five ties and six lead change before DeSales used a 9-4 run to end the half giving the Bulldogs a six-point halftime cushion. Liebl had a team-high nine points at the break.
Liebl finished the game with 13 points and 10 rebounds, while senior Jen Netwall totaled nine points and moved into a tie for the all-time lead in career three-pointers made with 143. She needs just one more trey to break Kate Corcoran’s record. Freshman Amanda Kuperavage played well for the second straight game as she totaled six points and a season-high nine rebounds.
Stockton saw two players reach double digits including Alicia Morris and Aimee Rendine with 11 points a piece.
