DOVER, De. — Ryan Buckland (Middletown, DE/Caravel) had 17 points to help lead Wesley College (2-9, 1-4) to a conference victory over College Misericordia (5-9, 3-2), 80-72 on Saturday afternoon at Jim and Shirley Wentworth Gymnasium. Robert Gordy (Temperanceville, VA/Arcadia) posted a career-high 16 points and added 4 blocks, while Pat Woods (Lewes, DE/Cape Henlopen) had 11 points in the effort. Buckland was 7-of-11 from the field and 3-of-5 from 3-point range and Woods had a game-high 5 assists.

Corey Brown (Bronx, NY/James Island) led the Cougars with 23 points on 10-of-13 shooting, while also grabbing a game-high 8 rebounds. Tony Rezykowksi (Dimmock, PA/Elk Lake) posted 14 points and 3 steals.

Wesley shot 32-of-70 (45.7%) from the field and 11-of-13 (84.6%) from the free-throw line. The Wolverines committed only 10 turnovers to the Cougars' 22.
