Eleven players scored as the Bison Men’s Basketball team took home their 11th straight victory on the season, defeating Thiel College 86-66 to earn their first PAC victory of the season.
Bethany (13-2, 1-0 PAC) took a 39-30 lead into halftime, but a 34-9 run through the first ten minutes of the second half gave the Bison an overwhelming 73-39 advantage in the second half.
For the game, Mike Drahos continued on his quest for 1,000 points in fine fashion, earning a game-high 21 points to go along with his game-best 15 rebounds. Four other players scored in double-digits for the Bison.
Thiel College was led by Daryl Moore’s 15 points. Joe Herrmann scored 13 points and grabbed six rebounds in the loss for the Tomcats (4-11, 0-1 PAC).
Up next for the Bison men is a road game against Washington & Jefferson Wednesday. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m.
