Skidmore 70, Vassar 67

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. — Senior guard Dana Martin scored eight of his 17 points in overtime to lead the Skidmore College men’s basketball team to a 70-67 Liberty League victory over Vassar College Friday night.

Senior guard J.P. Corry forced overtime for the Thoroughbreds when he hit a three-point basket to tie the game at 57-57 with 48 seconds to play in regulation.

Corry scored a team-high 19 points for the Thoroughbreds (7-4, 1-1 Liberty League) while Senior forward Fran Murray recorded a team high 10 rebounds and added seven points.
