Andre Stone scored 27 points and Jajuan Davis added 20 as the Giants extended their win streak to 11 games with a 74-62 victory at D'Youville Friday night. The Giants went on a 14-0 run to close out the first half to extend their lead to 5 at the half and the Spartans could never overcome the deficit. The Giants outrebounded the Spartans 53-33 for the game. Keystone moved its' record to 12-1 overall and 6-0 in the conference.
The Spartans were led in scoring by junior point guard Kyle Ward with 19 points and 8 assists. Senior co-captain Justin Cooke recorded a double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds while Ross King posted his own double-double for the Spartans with 15 points and 10 rebounds. D'Youville fell to 4-9 overall and 1-4 in the NEAC.
D'Youville is back in action Saturday afternoon when they host Chestnut Hill College for a conference matchup. This is the second meeting of the season between the two schools. Chestnut Hill won the first contest 63-48. Saturdays game is scheduled for a 4:00 p.m. start.
