Three players scored in double-digits for the Lyons. Sophomore Joeanna Silvey (Boston, MA) finished 7-of-15 for a team high of 16 points. Junior guard Christine Godin (Lunenburg, MA) chipped in 14 points, and bench player Meg Massey (Wellesley, MA) added 10 points to tonight's victory. Defensively, sophomore Angela Astuccio (Foxboro, MA) tallied seven rebounds and Godin had a game high of four steals. As a team, the Lyons earned a 42.2% success rate from field goal range.
For the Blazers, Amy Kasala (Dalton, MA) led the team in both points and rebounds with 20 and eight, respectively. Kasala also shot a perfect 12-for-12 from the charity stripe. Teammate Danielle Dugre (Holyoke, MA) added 11 points and Karen Prattico (Holyoke, MA) put in 10 for Elms. The Blazers shot 37.0% from field goal range for the game, and finished 22 of their 26 attempts from the free-throw line. The loss drops Elms to 2-9.
