Principia 81, MacMurray 79JACKSONVILLE, Ill — MacMurray's men's basketball team had a 4 point lead with 3 minutes to play and couldn't hold on as they lost 81-79 to Principia this evening at Jacksonville. The Highlanders are 3-9 overa ll and 0-2 in the SLIAC while the Panthers improve to 5-5, 2-0. Fendon (30), Gilman (15), Neale (15), andTegtmeyer (12) all hit double figures in the win and Fendon also grabbed 9 boards. For MacMurray , Rasmussen and Garrett each hit 5 treys for 15 points each and Kowa scored 10 in the loss. Each team had 44 rebounds and the game was as close as the final score indicates. The Highlanders were 3-6 from the free throw line and Principia 14-19. Next up for MacMurray is Webster on the 15th.
