The senior forward supplied the Gophers (12-2, 3-0 CAC) with 11 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds in 32 minutes of play.
The Sea Gulls (6-8, 1-2 CAC) hit their first shot from the field — a lay-up by Segun Odemeru that tied the score at 2-2, but they missed their next nine attempts and committed eight turnovers in the first 10 minutes of the contest. Goucher assumed its first double-digit lead on a basket by Cameron Brown that made the score 13-2 with 11:22 remaining until halftime.
The Gophers, who last stringed together eight consecutive victories during the 1996-97 season, led 33-17 at the break.
Goucher's Garrett Smith led all scorers as he finished with 26 points. James Russo nailed four shots from three-point range to contribute 12 points to the win.
Odumeru, who had tallied at least 20 points in the last four games for Salisbury, managed a team-high 14 points tonight. He accounted for one of his team's two three-point baskets as the Sea Gulls extended their NCAA Division III record for most consecutive games with at one three-pointer made to 488.
