Sullivan also doled out five assists and junior guard Feron McGee added 14 points, a career-high seven steals and six rebounds for the Pioneers (9-3, 3-3 NJAC), who forced 30 turnovers to end the Profs’ (7-4, 2-3 NJAC) seven-game winning streak. It was the ninth time this season the Pioneers, who rank second nationally in scoring defense, held an opponent below 60 points.
Senior guard Ryan Cochrane scored a team-high 12 points for Rowan, while senior center Brandon King recorded a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds to go with a career-high tying five steals.
Sullivan scored six of his points during an 11-2, first-half run that gave the Pioneers a 20-12 lead. They never trailed again, although Rowan rallied to within 61-55 on a 3-pointer by freshman swingman Matt Byrnes with 1:26 remaining. However, William Paterson ended the game on a 9-2 run sophomore forward Luis Martinez hit three free throws and Sullivan and freshman guard Jason Cameron each canned two in the final 1:17.
Martinez added 11 points and five rebounds for the Pioneers. Byrnes had nine points for the Profs, while freshman forward Chad Tidwell had eight and five boards and senior center Evan Johnson added seven and seven caroms.

William Paterson returns to action Tuesday, Jan. 11, when it hosts conference rival Ramapo at 8 p.m. Rowan plays again on Wednesday, Jan. 12, when it takes on Richard Stockton in an 8 p.m. home contest.
