R.I.T. (5-5, 1-1 Empire 8) led by 10 in the second half after opening up the second stanza with a 12-2 run over the opening moments, but Fisher regained the lead for good with its run over the next five minutes.
Senior Jeff Sidney scored 22 points to lead Fisher, who has won 33 straight at home during the regular-season, while Sean O'Brien finished with 18. Mike McGee scored 14 points, while fellow junior Nick Bennett grabbed a career-high 15 points and scored nine. Senior Charlie Zahn finished with six points, all of which came at the end of Fisher's 18-1 run.
Kyle Goff finished with 17 for the Tigers, while Fran Snyder and Sean Murphy each finished with 13.
