DELAWARE, Ohio — Senior guard Bryan King drilled a 3-pointer to kick off a 12-0 run that gave Ohio Wesleyan breathing room, and freshman post Dustin Rudegeair scored 7 straight points to quell a Kenyon rally as the Bishops defeated the Lords in North Coast Athletic Conference action on Saturday at Branch Rickey Arena.

With Ohio Wesleyan leading, 22-15, with 7:41 left in the first half, King knocked down a 3-pointer and Rudegeair followed with a free throw and a jumper. Junior guard Ross Rybarczyk added a lay-in before Rudegeair followed with a bucket and 2 free throws to extend the Bishop lead to 34-15 with 3:54 left.

On Kenyon's next possession, sophomore post Ben Chojnacki was called for his fifth foul, and the Lords took advantage of the opportunity and mounted a comeback, going on a 10-0 spurt to pull within 7 points of the lead. Andrew Good hit a pair of free throws, then Josh Klinger added a lay-in, Matt Formato converted a 3- point play and Chris Yorlano sank a 3-pointer to make it a 57-50 game with 6:08 remaining.
