Junior guard Ross Rybarczyk added a lay-in before Rudegeair followed with a bucket and 2 free throws to extend the Bishop lead to 34-15 with 3:54 left.
Ohio Wesleyan led, 38-19, at halftime, and still led by a margin of 57-40 when Rybarczyk sank a pair of free throws with 9:08 to play.
On Kenyon's next possession, sophomore post Ben Chojnacki was called for his fifth foul, and the Lords took advantage of the opportunity and mounted a comeback, going on a 10-0 spurt to pull within 7 points of the lead. Andrew Good hit a pair of free throws, then Josh Klinger added a lay-in, Matt Formato converted a 3- point play and Chris Yorlano sank a 3-pointer to make it a 57-50 game with 6:08 remaining.
Rudegeair answered with a 3-point play on Ohio Wesleyan's next possession, restoring the Bishops' double-digit lead, then sank a pair of free throws with 5:04 to go and hit a lay-in with 4:23 to play. After a Good free throw, Rudegeair hit 2 more charity shots to give Ohio Wesleyan a 66-51 lead with 3:44 left.
Rudegeair and sophomore wing Ted Uritus each posted career bests in the contest. Rudegeair led all players with 24 points, while Uritus led all players with a career-high 12 rebounds. King finished with 15 points and Rybarczyk had a team-high 9 assists.
Formato led the Lords with 14 points and 4 assists, while Tyler Rehm added 13 points and Klinger scored 12 points. Good led Kenyon with 7 rebounds.
