Kean's Tan Kessler scored 20 points off the bench to help the Cougars improve to 8-3.
Senior Badou Gaye led the Griffins (8-3) with 19 points an 14 rebounds. Sophomore Rashid Santiago chipped in 15 points.
Gwynedd-Mercy trailed 37-34 at halftime.
