GALESBURG, Ill. — The Grinnell's men's basketball team lost by the score of 100-86 to Knox College on Thursday in Galesburg, Ill. The Pioneers made just 12 of 54 three-point attempts and allowed the Prairie Fire to shoot 85 percent from the floor.

First-year forward/center Aden Stinebrickner-Kauffmann notched team-highs of 17 points and six rebounds. He shot 7 of 10 from the field to lead the Grinnell attack, and also made three steals. First-year guard Mike Schmidt was the only other Pioneer to score in double figures, as he canned four three-pointers to total 12 points.

Knox's Jared Kelly scored a game-high 50 points on 21 of 24 shooting, while Jeff Zick added 21 points and six rebounds for the Prairie Fire.
