Misericordia 79, Lycoming 73

DALLAS, Pa — The College Misericordia men's basketball team handed Lycoming its second straight loss, 79-73, Wednesday night in the Anderson Center.

Tony Rezykowski led the Cougars with 21 points, as he was five for six from three-point range. Rezykowski also led the team in rebounds with six.

Josh McCabe and Michael Morak each had 18 points and combined for five rebounds and five steals.

CM scored the first points of the game but then fell behind 9-19 at 12:54.

The Cougars closed the gap at half time to pull within five (28-33).

CM captured the lead in the second half off a Michael Morak three-pointer at 12:22.

Lycoming made an effort to take the lead at 6:22 (57-58), but they were unable to maintain it as the Cougars pulled away to lead by as much as nine points.

CM, 5-6, will travel to Villa Julie, Saturday.
