Transy improved to 20-5 overall while Anderson, the seventh seed in the tourney, finishes its season with a record of 11-15.
Transy will meet Franklin in the HCAC semifinals Friday at Hanover, the event's top seed. Franklin, a winner over Mt. St. Joseph, will take on Transy at 6 p.m.
Although the lead changed hands early on six occasions, it was never tied and the Pioneers never trailed after Nate Valentine converted a three off a Marc Bain pass with 9:47 to play, making it 21-19. The Pioneers, with Bryan Howard hitting all six of his shots from the field, including three of three from long range for 15 points, led 40-33 at intermission.
It was more of the same in the second half as Transy used a 18-7 run to go up by 18, 58-40, with just over nine minutes to go. The lead would reach as many as 25, 69-44, late in the contest before Anderson closed the gap.
Howard finished with 17 points, hitting seven of eight shots, and Riley O'Neal came off the bench to hit three three-point bombs for 13 points. Joey Searle and Matt Finke added 11 each and Finke led all rebounders with seven.
Anderson had only two players in double figures, led by Cory Lyons who came off the bench for 13 points. Vynsynt Vann added 12 points.
Transy was 11 of 34 from long range and 31 of 58 overall while Anderson shot 42 percent (21 of 50) and nine of 21 from behind the arc.
Transy won 20 games in a season for the first time since 2000-01 and the 23rd time overall. It was head coach Brian Lane's first 20 win season in four years at the Transy helm.
