Mount Ida 73, Elms 64

NEWTON, Ma. — Elms College junior forward Danielle Dugre (Holyoke, MA) netted a game-high 24 points and freshman guard Raemarie Josefiak (Springfield, MA) added a collegiate career-high 19 points, but Mount Ida College placed four players in double figures to earn a 73-64 win over the Blazers in Tuesday night’s North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Women’s Basketball Tournament quarterfinals at Newton.

With the loss, the Blazers were eliminated from the tournament and finished the season 11-14 overall.

Mount Ida, which had lost the previous two regular season meetings to the Blazers, improved to 15-11 overall. The Mustangs now advance to Friday night’s NAC Tournament semifinals.
