The win raised the Nor'easters' record to 8-16 overall, 4-12 in league games. Nichols fell to 7-18 (5-11).
McManus and Oliver each had four 3-pointers for UNE, which made 10 of 19 shots from beyond the arc. McManus finished with a team-high 20 points, while Oliver had 17.
The Nor'easters also received a strong all-around floor game from sophomore Tom Button (Lyndeborough, N.H.), who contributed 11 rebounds, four blocked shots and three steals.
Junior Casey Butler (Longmeadow, Mass.) paced the Bison with 22 points to go with seven boards. First-year forward Justin Lewis (Hopedale, Mass.) netted 15 points and grabbed 14 caroms.
Nichols will have a road game in the opening round of the CCC Tournament next Tuesday. The Nor'easters wrap up their season on Wednesday when they host Saint Joseph's College in a non-league contest.
