Elms 79, Maine Maritime 61

CASTINE, Me. — Elms College freshman forward Renato Lindmets (Springfield, MA) recorded a game-high 21 points and 12 assists, and the Blazers placed four players in double figures to earn a 79-61 win over Maine Maritime Academy in Saturday afternoon’s North Atlantic Conference (NAC) game at Castine, Maine.

The Blazers won for the 10th time in their last 13 games to conclude regular season play 17-8 overall, 11-2 NAC. Maine Maritime finished 3-19 overall, 1-12 NAC.

Senior guard Kyle Seyoth (Seekonk, MA) finished with 18 points – all on 3-pointers, while sophomore guards Justin Davis (Dix Hills, NY) and John Ancrum (Harlem, NY) both added 11 points apiece as the other players to reach double figures in the victory.

Elms College will play host to Johnson State College in the NAC Tournament quarterfinals on Tuesday, February 22. Game time is to be announced.
