Rochester Tech 63, Ithaca 60ITHACA, N.Y. — The Rochester Institute of Technology Tigers (18-7, 12-2 Empire 8) rallied from a nine-point deficit with 6:11 left to beat host Ithaca (12-12, 7-6 Empire 8) 63-60. Despite the loss Ithaca clinched a berth in next weekend's Empire 8 Championship Tournament.
The Tigers took the lead for good on a lay-up by Sean Murphy with 13 seconds left. Murphy led RIT with 20 points. Kyle Goff recorded a double-double for the Tigers, collecting 12 points and 11 rebounds. Jesse Roth scored a game-high 21 points to lead Ithaca.
