Cabrini 76, Neumann 63

Radnor, PA — Senior Messiah Reames scored 18 points to lead five Cavaliers in double figures, as Cabrini College (14-12) defeated Neumann College (11-15) 76-63 in a Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) Tournament First-Round Game. Cabrini advances to the PAC Semifinals at Alvernia College on Tuesday night at 8 p.m.

The third-seeded Cavaliers took a one-point lead into halftime, but they quickly expanded the lead to 10 points six minutes into the second half on a field goal by Jim McMahon. Jeff Dailey's second three-pointer of the half expanded Cabrini's lead to 14 points, 56-42, with 8:21 remaining.

There were a few anxious moments down the stretch, but the Knights could not get closer than eight points the rest of the way.

Randy Maultsby led Neumann with 19 points.

McMahon finished with 15 points for the Cavaliers, Ty Teasley added 12 points and eight rebounds, Dailey finished with 11 points, and Randy Reid had 10 points.
