Husson 73, Elms 62

BANGOR, Me. — Elms College junior forward Danielle Dugre (Holyoke, MA) scored a team-high 17 points and freshman forward Amy Kasala (Dalton, MA) added 15 points, but Husson College placed four players in double figures to earn a 73-62 win over the Blazers in Friday night’s North Atlantic Conference (NAC) women’s basketball game at Bangor, Maine.

With the loss, the Blazers fell to 11-12 overall, 10-7 NAC. Husson improved to 14-10 overall, 11-5 NAC.

Freshman forward Alison O’Keefe (Newington, CT) and sophomore guard Michelle Fernandes (Danbury, CT) added 12 points apiece for the Blazers, who were limited to just six first-half field goals and trailed 32-24 at intermission.
