Rochester (20-3, 11-1 UAA), which won its 10th consecutive game, never trailed in the contest. The Yellowjackets led 34-21 at the intermission and took their largest lead of the second stanza at 39-25 at the 17:03 mark.
Chicago (10-13, 6-6) rallied to tie the game at 48-48 on a layup by Brandon Woodhead with 7:58 to go.
Ryan Mee gave Rochester the lead for good when he sunk a three-point shot with 7:31 remaining to put his club ahead 51-48.
Chicago closed to within three, 57-54, following a pair of free throws by Clay Carmody at the 3:59 mark. Rochester then outscored the Maroons 13-5 the rest of the way.
Carmody led Chicago with 19 points, while Jesse Meyer and Nate Hainje added 13 and 11 points, respectively.
Gabe Perez finished with 16 points and six assists for Rochester.
