Bethany staked a double-digit advantage with 14:48 remaining in the first half and refused to let Waynesburg get near single digits. The Bison continued the offensive firepower mounting a 21-0 run in the first half to take a 31-6 lead.
Bison Matt Drahos recorded a double-double in the win with 14 points and a game-high 15 rebounds. Combined with his brother Mike, the Drahos scored 25 points and grabbed 18 rebounds.
Teammate Scott Mezyk led all scorers with 21 points on 8-of-12 attempts, including 5 of 8 from three-point territory.
Ray Gillespie (Munhall, Pa./Steel Valley) and Beau Wilson (Daybrook, W.Va./Clay-Battelle) led WC with 10 points each, while Ryan Bujnowski (Pittsburgh, Pa./Carrick) came off the bench post a team-high seven rebounds.
Waynesburg (8-16, 2-7 PAC) concludes the regular season when it faces Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pa. at 4 p.m. The Titans, who are the reigning PAC champions, won the first meeting this season 113-98 despite trailing just two points at halftime.
