Senior Badou Gaye recorded game-highs of 29 points and 13 rebounds as the Griffins (21-4, 15-1 PAC) connected on a season-high nine three-pointers in the victory.
The Griffins broke open an early 10-10 tie in the first half as freshman Troy Bixler hit a trey to give GMC a comfy 30-20 lead with nine minutes to play.
The Wolverines would climb within three at 37-34 with 5:02 left only to see Gwynedd-Mercy close out the half on a 15-4 run to lead 52-38 at intermission.
Wesley gave it one last push as Ryan Buckland's trey made it a 67-61 GMC lead with 10:30 to play. The Griffins would score the next six points and not look back.
Senior Jeff Thomas' dunk gave the Griffins their biggest lead of the contest at 89-70 with just under four minutes in the game. Thomas scored 10 points and added eight boards.
Sophomores Francis Bowe and Chris DelBrocco combined to sink seven of the nine shots from beyond the arc. Bowe hit four and finished with 12 points while DelBrocco connected on three longballs, finishing with 16 points and seven assists.
Nick Minor led Wesley (6-18, 5-11 PAC) with 21 points and 11 rebounds. Teammate Pat Woods added 12 points and nine assists as the Wolverines shot 36% (31-of-85) for the game.
Gwynedd-Mercy, which clinched the top-seed in the upcoming PAC Tournament, will receive a first-round bye and will host a semifinal game here at the Griffin Complex on Tuesday, February 22nd against an opponent to be determined after Saturday's first-round game.
