Elms 67, Bay Path 30

SPRINGFIELD, Ma. — Elms College junior forward Danielle Dugre (Holyoke, MA) registered a double-double with a game-high 22 points and 11 rebounds, and the Blazers had nine players reach the scoring column en route to a 67-30 win over Bay Path College in Tuesday night’s North Atlantic Conference (NAC) women’s basketball game at Springfield Technical Community College.

Dugre’s double-double was her fourth in the last five games for the Blazers, who won their seventh consecutive game to improve to 11-11 overall, 10-6 NAC. Those 11 overall and 10 conference victories are the program’s most since the 2001-02 season.

The Blazers’ defense was also stellar, as the host Wildcats were limited to just 21.7-percent shooting from the field (13 of 60).

Junior guard Karen Prattico (Holyoke, MA) added 11 points, five rebounds and a team-high four assists in the victory.

Elms College returns to NAC play at Husson College on Friday, February 18. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m.
