Gwynedd-Mercy 87, Misericordia 55

Dallas, Pa. — Gwynedd-Mercy notched their 20th win on the season as the Griffins handled Misericordia, 87-55, in a Pennsylvania Athletic Conference Game Monday evening.

Senior Badou Gaye and sophomore Chris DelBrocco netted 16 points apiece and sophomore Rashid Santiago chipped in 11 as the Griffins shot 38% on a season-high 73 attempts.

GMC (20-4, 14-1 PAC) used an 18-7 run midway in the first half to open up a 17-10 lead. DelBrocco made it a 20-point lead with one of his three treys on the night as Gywnedd was up 48-29 at the half.

It was more of the same in the second half as a three-point play by senior Courtney Griffin gave the Griffins their biggest lead of the contest, 83-45, with 5:08 to play.

Griffin and junior Francis Bowe each scored nine points each.

Tony Rezykowski led the Cougars (9-15, 7-8 PAC) with 12 points as CM was held to just 28% (21-of-74) shooting and was outrebounded by GMC, 58-43.

Gaye added a 15 boards for his 17th double-double on the season while DelBrocco dished out eight assists.

Gwynedd-Mercy, which clinched the No.1 seed and first-round bye in next week's PAC Tournament, will host Wesley on Wednesday in the last regular season home game at the Griffin Complex starting at 8 p.m.
