They did so again on Monday night, defeating Concordia University (Wis.), 68-54, at the MSOE Kern Center.
Concordia, which was sharing the conference lead with Edgewood College, dropped to second in the regular season standings. The Falcons were the pre-season favorite to win the conference. Instead, Edgewood won the conference title outright.
Earlier this season, the Raiders defeated Edgewood in overtime, 64-58.
On Monday, MSOE's Scott Murphy scored a game-high 16 points on 4-of-5 shooting and a perfect 8-of-8 from the free throw line in just 26 minutes of action.
The Raiders' Jeff Mikos had a well-rounded game. The MSOE junior pushed his career point total to 1,011 after scoring eight points against the Falcons. He added 11 assists, seven steals and seven rebounds.
Jake Gay came off the MSOE bench to score 12 points in 12 minutes.
Concordia's Matt Peets scored 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds before fouling out.
With the win, MSOE ended the regular season with a 5-7 conference mark and an 11-14 overall record.
Concordia dropped to 8-4 in the LMC and 11-14 overall.
This Thursday begins the first round of the LMC Tournament. The Raiders are a No. 6 seed, and they will travel to No. 3 Wisconsin Lutheran for a 7 p.m. game.
No. 2 Concordia will host No. 7 Maranatha Baptist.
MSOE won the LMC Tournament in 2003.
