Adam Chandler topped the field with a career-best 23 points, while Ryan Stangl added 18 and Eric Heisler came off the bench to add 14 to power the Blue Devils (13-8, 8-6).
A couple of juniors also made big contributions. Terry Farmer tossed in 16 points and Greg Chaisson had 10 points.
Holding on to a tenuous 36-33 halftime lead, a first half that featured nine tied scores, Stout built up a 14 points, 57-43 lead with 13:15 remaining in the game. While Eau Claire (12-11, 5-9) did break the lead down into single digits, they only got as close as three points once, and that sent Stout off on a 9-0 run, with Stangl dropping in four points during the run, to take an 82-70 lead.
Stout did not make a field goal in the final 2:40 of the game, but made 12-of-19 free throws down the stretch for the win.
The Blue Devils worked well off the glass, holding a 39-29 advantage. Farmer and Jacob Nonemacher each had eight rebounds, while Chaisson pulled down six.
Stout connected on 58 percent of their shots (29-of-50) and Eau Claire shot 47 percent (13--of-35).
Eau Claire's Casey Drake led all scorers with 25 points. Dan Archambault had 19 points and Will Jefferson, 11.
